A broken pin, in case you missed it. This broken pin wasn't the cause of the intermittent lights but it still needed to be fixed. I fortunately repaired a similar broken pin on my Sport Fury so I had the tools and parts to fix this. I dug out the brass plated brads I used the last time and set to work soldering the broken pin back on. The brad is just the right diameter to fit snugly inside the pin.
I also put solder around the other pins to help stabilize them.
Below is a photo of the backside of the circuit board, showing the head of the brad.
The lighting issue on the circuit board ended up being a loose ground screw, so it was just a matter of tightening it up.
