First is a Singer needle threader, number 36806. I'd guess this is from the 1930s. Interesting thing, it comes with two replacement hooks secured to the handle. Now someone was thinking when they did that.
Next up is a set of instructions for using a Simplex needle threader. I'm curious why the company felt the need to print the instructions on tissue paper. Amazing that it has lasted these past 75 years (I'd guess).
I would imagine other folks that acquire old sewing machines are also interested to see what they will find. It's part of the fun.

I just purchased a 1924 White Rotary (my very first vintage) and oddly enough this same sewing machine threader was in the "stuff" in my machine too. Mine had no hooks though.
I have a 1936 handcranked Singer 128 VS machine. It came with one of these old-style needle-threaders, too. And three spare hooks. Very useful item! It works extremely well. Fiddly to set up, though. The screw and the hooks are of course, tiny!
